Berthline supports the local side of import freight in the Los Angeles / Long Beach port region — from container pickup and warehouse devanning to short-term handling, local delivery, and empty return coordination.

For overseas freight forwarders, customs brokers, importers, and small business shippers who need local execution support in Southern California.

Container Status

Need to check container availability before pickup? Enter a container number and open the appropriate terminal or port lookup page. Final pickup status may depend on terminal availability, carrier release, customs release, appointments, fees, and written confirmation.

If the external lookup page does not accept prefilled values, paste the container number manually.

Services

Berthline handles the local steps after import freight arrives in the Los Angeles / Long Beach port region. Work is arranged per shipment and confirmed in writing.

Container Pickup / Drayage

Container pickup from LA / Long Beach marine terminals and area rail ramps, arranged case by case through qualified motor carriers. Includes terminal appointment scheduling and empty return.

Transload / Devanning

Container unloading, sorting, and piece counts through qualified transload facilities.

Palletizing & Labeling

Palletizing, shrink wrap, labeling, and basic handling through qualified warehouse partners.

Short-Term Warehousing

Short-term storage through qualified local facilities. Subject to availability and confirmed in writing.

Local Delivery

Local delivery, FBA transfers, and LTL / FTL outbound within Southern California. Inland moves arranged case by case.

Receiving Photos & Updates

Unloading photos, piece counts, and receiving documents when requested and available from the handling facility.

Before dispatch or handling, scope, availability, charges, and third-party requirements must be confirmed in writing.

Quotes are based on the shipment information provided. Demurrage, per diem, chassis, storage, waiting time, dry run, re-delivery, and other third-party charges may apply when incurred. Written approval is required before dispatch or additional handling.
